Parsha for Kids: The Full Collection
It’s my pleasure to present the full collection of my ‘Parsha for Kids’ podcast episodes-available for children ages 7 and up- on every parsha (Torah section) of the week. Below you will find links to each podcast episode and its transcript. I strove to make this podcast:
accessible to all (which is why I use terms like ‘God’ instead of Hashem, or make sure to translate Hebrew terms)
relevant (with a focus on how what we learn in the parsha each week relates to our own life)
interesting (I did not include every detail or commandment found in every parsha, but tried to choose content that I thought would pique curiosity)
I am grateful to my husband, Heshy, who gave me feedback on each episode before I recorded it. I also appreciate and incorporated Chabad.org’s Rashi translation, The Midrash Says, The Little Midrash Says, books written by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks and books written by Rabbi Ari Kahn throughout the podcast. There have been some wild experiences, ranging from the time I lost my voice and Heshy had to record an episode for me, to the time I recorded live from Jerusalem because I was on a Matan Eshkolot program, to the time I recorded an episode while I was in the hospital having contractions about to have my baby. (Yes, that really happened.)
